SiteTraceKit
Privacy
SiteTraceKit is designed as a privacy-friendly public signal checker operated by Tom Silas Helmke. The MVP does not use accounts, analytics, tracking cookies, its own database for scan results or stored scan history.
What happens when you run a check
Submitted input is normalized to a public hostname before the scan runs. Paths, query strings, fragments and URL user information are removed or rejected before analysis.
SiteTraceKit checks only publicly visible technical signals of a domain or website. The app may query public sources such as RDAP, DNS, TLS endpoints, HTTP responses and the Wayback CDX API. These live sources can be incomplete, outdated, unavailable or return different data at different times.
What SiteTraceKit does not store
There are no user accounts, no scan-history pages and no permanent database of submitted domains in the MVP. The app is designed to produce a live report and then leave interpretation to the user.
- No permanent user profiles
- No persistent scan history
- No internal domain intelligence database
- No analytics or tracking cookies
- No active advertising code in the current version
What is not executed, attempted or displayed
SiteTraceKit does not execute third-party scripts from checked websites, does not log in to target websites, does not submit forms and does not perform active attack tests, port scans, bypass attempts or penetration testing. Public HTML and headers are read as text.
Personal RDAP or WHOIS contact data is not displayed in reports. Registration data is limited to neutral fields such as registrar, dates, status and nameservers when available.
Limits of the report
Results are a technical pre-check and can be incomplete or incorrect. They do not guarantee safety, trustworthiness, legal compliance, freedom from malware or freedom from fraud.
SiteTraceKit does not provide legal advice, a security guarantee, a malware assessment, a fraud assessment or a compliance verdict. Important decisions require additional manual and, where appropriate, professional review.
Planned monetization and Google AdSense
The current version is ad-free and does not include active ads, ad scripts, fake ad placements or popups.
The website may later use advertising such as Google AdSense or clearly labelled support and partner links. If advertising is activated, third parties such as Google may use cookies or similar technologies.
These privacy notices will be updated before such services are activated. Advertising and support placements must remain clearly separated from scan controls and report actions.
